You’re never going to be perfect.

What makes you happy might not be what your family members – or society – think will make you happy.  So do your own thing!

You can’t shoulder everything on your own.

When you’re struggling, you’re allowed to ask for help. You don’t  have to do it all alone.

Families don’t always know what’s best for you.

As soon as everyone start listening to their own hearts instead of doing what they thought they were supposed to do, they ended up happier.

Don't compare yourself to anyone else

When you compare yourself to somebody else, you don't really focus on your work. All you think about is how quick you are, or aren't, seeing results compared to the other person.

Some things must break down before they can be restored

Difficult parts of our past are not burdens that must be buried and harbored alone. They are things we must see in ourselves and in each other—things we must break down together, if we are to move forward together.

You can work your way up again. You can find happiness again. You can start from scratch and create something beautiful, so don’t assume that one setback is the end of the world.
